BRIDGWATER PANTOMIME SOCIETY AGM 2013

BPS AGM 2013 - Brief Breakdown:
 
Thank you to everyone who came to the 2013 AGM on Tuesday 23rd July.

It was passed that the Society should accept the new Articles and Memorandum of Association, these will now be sent to Companies House.

Chris Kettle stood down as President after 5 years.

Lionel Porter stood down as Chairman after 14 years.

Phil Owen, Derrick Palmer, Richard J. Porter and Les Till were voted onto the Board of Directors for a further three years.

Lionel Porter was voted as the Society's new President.

The remaining Officers of the Society will be selected by the Board of Directors at their first meeting in August.  They will be posted once chosen.

Richard J. Porter and Chris Kettle were made Honorary Vice-Presidents for their service to the Pantomime Society.

THE COMPANY FOR "THE SNOW QUEEN"

Auditions were held on 14th, 15th and 16th July 2013 and the company for the 2014 Production of "The Snow Queen" are as follows:

The parts of the Snow Queen and the Summer Queen will be played by Margaret Robinson and Lindsey Stone, but who is playing which part is still to be decided.

The parts of Granny Dotty and the Bergher will be played by Keith Robinson and Ken Stone, but again who is playing which part is still to be decided.

The part of Katya has not yet been cast.

The dates/times for the 2013 Auditions for the Society’s forthcoming production of “The Snow Queen” are as follows:-


Auditions Material Collection:

•    Tuesday 9th July 2013 from 7:30pm until 9:00pm

Cast Auditions:

•    Sunday 14th July 2013 from 2:30pm

Junior Chorus Auditions:

•    Monday 15th July 2013 from 7:00pm until 8:30pm

Senior Chorus Auditions:

•    Monday 15th June 2013 from 8:30pm

Junior Dancers Auditions:

•    Tuesday 16th July 2013 from 7:00pm until 8:00pm

Senior Dancers Auditions:

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2013

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Dear Members, I am writing to let you know that the Society's Annual General Meeting has been postponed until Tuesday 23rd July 2013. This is because work on the new Memorandum and Articles of Association has taken slightly longer than originally thought. All adult members will be receiving a copy of these in the post shortly with additional information.

BPS Bingo takes place every Thursday at the Pantomime Society Headquarters.  New members are always welcome.  :)

QUIZ NITE - FRIDAY 19th APRIL 2013

OUR FIRST QUIZ NITE of the year will be taking place at the Society Headquarters, Wembdon Road (behind Biffen's) this Friday night (Friday 19th April 2013).  Keith and Margaret will be your Quizmasters.  Teams picked at random, buffet half-time, licenced bar, plus everyone gets a prize.  Come along and make new friends, have a great time and support the Society.

If you are planning on coming, please can you let me know via email at commercialinn@talktalk.net by Wednesday 17th April so we know how many we are catering for.
