Dancing Queens...

Last night the Dancers Auditions for the 2011 production of "Dick Whittington" took place.  Society Choreographer, Jo Elson, put the prospective members of the dancers through their paces.

The cast is cast...

This afternoon the auditions took place for the cast of the Society's 2011 production "Dick Whittington".  They went very well and all the part were cast (with the exception of Timmy the Cat which will be cast on Tuesday night).

Chorus auditions take place tomorrow night (Monday 6th September), the results will be posted on Tuesday afternoon.

Collecting Audition Material

On Tuesday night (31st August) the Production Team (Keith and Margaret Robinson, Richard J. Porter and Jan Bishop) were at the Society's Headquarters eagerly awaiting prospective members of the cast to collect scripts prior to the Principal's auditions on Sunday 5th September.

The turnout was good, but don't worry if you couldn't make it DON'T PANIC.  As long as you contact either me via email (commercialinn@talktalk.net) by the end of Friday 3rd September you will still be able to audition. New members are always welcome...

Skittles Night Success...

The Society's Social Skittles Night on Friday 27th August at the Commercial Inn, Redgate Street, Bridgwater was a great success.

Over 20 members of the Committee, Cast and friends of the Society attended and a fun night was had by all.
