Here are the membership rates for the forthcoming year:
 

• £16 - minimum for Vice-President membership
• £14 - for Adult Playing Member membership
• £8 - for Junior Playing Member membership
• £12 - for Adult Non-Playing Member membership
• £7 - for Junior Non-Playing Member membership

Everyone who was a member last year (or new members who were successful at auditions) will get a letter from Nigel Johnson (Society Membership Secretary).

Award for Grace Good

At the Society's AGM on Tuesday 26th June, Society Founder Member, Grace Good, was awarded her 65 year NODA (National Operatic and Dramatic Association) award by NODA Regional Representative, Sue Pomeroy.  Grace is one of the first, if not the first person in Somerset to receive this award, and is definitely the first person in Bridgwater to get it.

Grace was also presented with a special Certificate of Long Service by Society Chairman, Lionel Porter, and Society President, Chris Kettle.

Auditions for "Jack and the Beanstalk"

Annual General Meeting 2012

The Society's Annual General Meeting will be taking place at the Headquarters this Tuesday (26th June 2012) starting at 7:30pm.  Everyone is welcome, although only members over 16 years of age are eligible to vote.  

 

Also there will be a special presentation to Grace Good after the meeting at approximately 8:30pm.

Quiz Nite - Friday 8th June

Bridgwater Pantomime Society are having a Quiz Nite on Friday 8th June at the Society Headquarters, Wembdon Road starting at 8:00pm.

Teams are of four persons, all picked at random so you never know who you're going to end up with.  There's a fully licenced bar and everyone gets a prize, plus there's a buffet at half time.

Hot Dog Van at Victoria Park Fun Day

If you're free on Jubilee Bank Holiday Monday (4th June 2012), why not pop along to the Victoria Park Fun Day.  Whilst you're there, come and support the Society as we have our Hot Dog Van there and Keith, Margaret, Jan and Richard will be only too pleased to see you.

Why not start your Diamond Jubilee celebrations early with a game of Bingo at the Society's Headquarters, Wembdon Road on Thursday 31st May.

Eyes down at 7:30pm.  Doors open at 6:45pm.

Horse Race Night

Bridgwater Pantomime Society are holding a Horse Race Night (in association with P&A Entertainment) at the Commercial Inn, Redgate Street, Bridgwater on Friday 18th May starting at 8:00pm.

If you fancy a flutter on the horses then why not pop along, everyone is welcome.  :)

Opening Night is now just over four days away, rehearsals are going really well and everyone is looking forward to opening night when we can entertain our audiences.  If you want to beat the post-Christmas blues, buy a ticket and come along.

BOX OFFICE NOW OPEN!!!

Tickets are now available from the Box Office in the Bridgwater Carnival Museum, High Street, Bridgwater from 10am until 1pm until Thursday 19th January when the Box Office transfers to the Town Hall, High Street, Bridgwater.

Tickets are £10 for Adults and £8 for Children.

Senior Citizens concession night is Wednesday 25th January when OAP tickets are £8.
